First garment- Skirt number 1

For my first skirt I made a simple panel skirt with a waistband.

The skirt has 8 panels going around with a lined waistband.

 I didn't know how to attach a button or create a button hole so i simply snipped a whole for the button hole and stitched the button to the skirt.
 

overall i thought it was a good attempt to my first skirt. The fabric was easy to work with.

This skirt was made with a blue poly-cotton which was £1.50 per meter.
